GALERIE DE L’EUROPE — Where Heritage Meets Contemporary Curation - Creative Direction, Physical Scenography, Visual Identity, Exhibition Design.
The Challenge To manage the artistic soul of a prestigious gallery in the heart of Paris. The challenge was to bridge the gap between historical art codes and a modern, high-end audience, ensuring each exhibition felt both timeless and innovative.
The Creative Response
I operated at the intersection of curation and spatial design. My role encompassed the entire creative ecosystem: from designing the visual identity of the exhibitions to the physical layout of the gallery. I focused on the dialogue between the work and the void, creating minimalist yet impactful scenographies that elevate the artist’s vision. Each project was treated as a brand experience, where lighting, typography, and spatial flow merged to create a sophisticated sensory journey.
Digital
Design & Layout The goal was to translate the gallery’s DNA into a minimalist interface. My process began with a focus on information hierarchy to ensure a clear and immediate experience. I designed the mockups by placing the artwork at the heart of the navigation; right from the homepage, users can access current and upcoming exhibitions. The layout was envisioned as a digital catalog.
Visibility
The focus was on showcasing the visuals, with photography serving as the central element of the site’s identity, conveying the atmosphere and emotion unique to each artist.
The Result
A reinforced brand image for the gallery, attracting a new generation of collectors while maintaining its prestige. This experience solidified my Phygital approach, the ability to translate a high-end aesthetic from a physical space into a coherent digital presence.
