The Challenge The Galerie Cyril Guernieri, located in the prestigious Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, requires a visual language that reflects the power and sensitivity of the artists it represents. The challenge was to create a cohesive graphic identity that bridges the gap between high-end print publishing catalogs, invitations and a refined digital presence.

The Creative Response

I focused on a Gallery as a Brand approach, where the art direction acts as a minimalist frame to enhance the artworks. My work involved designing sophisticated layouts for exhibition catalogs and digital assets, prioritizing white space, radical typography, and paper quality for print. Each touchpoint was designed to reflect the gallery’s DNA, a balance between craftsmanship and contemporary vision.

The Result

A strengthened brand equity for the gallery, ensuring that every exhibition whether physical or digital is perceived as a premium cultural event. This project demonstrates my ability to manage the visual codes of Art and Luxury with precision and sobriety.

Print

Print played a key role in the gallery’s communication. For each exhibition, a full range of visual materials had to be created books, posters, invitations, and press publications.
This work, carried out over several years, helped build a strong and coherent visual identity that connected each exhibition to the gallery’s overall image.

One of the projects, the Aqua di Mare poster, was designed from a collage of elements taken from paintings and photographs, creating a unique visual composition to announce a group exhibition. Each visual fragment came directly from the artists works, reflecting the collaborative and poetic spirit of the event.
